It is crucial to note that there would be no "us" without the Earth, which is why taking care of it is so important. Earth is the living network which connects us all. Not only is it our home, it also provides for us in many ways, whether it's the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat.
We have adopted some sustainability practices which include:
PAPER PACKAGING
All of our retail bags and shipping boxes are made out of a paper material. Doing so allows us to limit our usage of plastics. We made the conscious decision to design our packaging with captivating patterns so you can reuse them!
MADE IN SMALL BATCHES
We do not overproduce; we consciously pair each of our cuts with specific prints and produce them in small batches. As a result, not all the prints will be available in all our signature cuts. See our custom order section located in our FAQ for more information. Additionally, when ordering the material, we only purchase the fabric we need for a batch and strive to utilize all of it. If there are leftover scraps that are not enough for a piece, we utilize them in other ways by creating items such as napkins, smaller headscarfs etc.; these will be part of Bohio's Zero Waste Capsule.

GOING FORWARD
In the future, we aim to operate on a pre-order basis. Customers will be able to choose items they wish to purchase in advance so that we know the exact amount of items that need to be produced in a specific style. This will further limit waste and overproduction.
